Flow

The Flow learning programme is a unique educational scheme created entirely by the professionals at Engine. It offers an exciting solution for professionals who specialise in working with disaffected pupils, focussing mainly on self-esteem building, motivation, personal aptitudes, daily outdoor challenges and built-in nationally recognised qualifications.

We pride ourselves on identifying these disengaged pupils as individuals with unique needs, and in certain cases, one-on-one specialist provision is available. In terms of the complex situations surrounding pupils between the ages of 14-16 being excluded from conventional education, the programme offers both a preventative and reactive alternative for pupils at risk of disaffection.

‘Flow’ is currently on the verge of being reproduced as a template programme that can be easily duplicated and adopted by other providers and trainers. 

Kick Start

Kick Start is another unique programme created by Engine Training and Consultancy LLP. It consists of a six day schedule that provides an outline of an individual’s goals and aspirations. This project provides the perfect introduction to the aforementioned Flow programme. 

The programme begins with a M.A.P.S. assessment (Measuring Attitude, Aptitude and Personal Styles) that indicates personality type and allows us to understand individual learning styles in order to progress effectively. The programme also incorporates outdoor activities and attitude indicators in order to gauge self-esteem, motivation and confidence levels.
