The safety & well being of all our visitors is of paramount importance to us here at E2. In order to maintain the maximum level of safety possible, the following measures have been introduced.

General Safety

The Welsh International Climbing and Activity Centre a licensed member of AALA (The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority.) This governing body ensures that those who provide certain adventure activities to young people under the age of 18 years have had their safety management systems fully inspected and approved.

T
he centre has a child protection policy & as an essential part of this all staff are Police checked through our registration with the Criminal Records Bureau.

Our expert instruction staff are all first aid trained, holding a valid first aid at work certificate. Also specialist members of staff also hold mountain, expedition & aquatic first aid certificates.

In-house Inspections of the climbing walls, ropes and holds are carried out on a daily basis by our full-time qualified CWMA Route Setter.

All Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is used in line with Health & Safety directions and manufacturer's recommendations, and all activity equipment is checked on date of purchase and then continued inspections are carried out on a weekly basis.
