A full Risk Assessment program has been implemented for all facilities and activities here at the centre, and we will continue to add risk assessments to this program as new facilities and activities are made available to the public. We have acquired a member of senior staff who is a National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) certificate holder. Our policy also outlines all stipulations for responsibilities, emergency procedures, compliance with C.O.S.H.H. regulations, and accident reporting.
HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY Policy Statement It is the aim of Engine Training ad Consultancy LLP operating from the Welsh International Climbing Centre, to pursue and achieve continuous improvement in Health & Safety to best performing levels. Consistent with this aim is compliance with all legal and organisational requirements. Engine Training and Consultancy LLP will ensure :
· adequate control of the health and safety risks arising from our work activities
· consultation with our employees and customers on matters affecting health and safety
· provision and maintenance of safe premises, facilities and equipment
· the safe handling, storage and use of hazardous substances
· the provision of information, instruction and supervision for employees and customers
· all employees are competent and adequately trained to do their tasks
· prevention of accidents and cases of work related ill health
· the maintenance of safe and healthy work and activity conditions
· regular reviews and revision of this policy as necessary at regular intervals
