Environmental Conscience & Green Dragon PDF Print E-mail

We are members of The Brecon Beacons Environmental Charter Group & adhere to their policies on the use of our natural environment. We are also practicing to the level of The Green Dragon Environmental Standard.

The Charter is a commitment from activity and education centres towards the sustainable use of the National Park. Centres making and observing this commitment become Charter Group members, and work with the Park Authority to keep the Charter relevant and effective in conserving the National Park.

We believe we have taken every step possible to ensure your visit to The Welsh International Climbing Wall will be a safe & enjoyable experience, although the relative risks involved with these activities are always present. The British Mountaineering Committee remind us:

"The BMC recognises that climbing and mountaineering are activities with a danger of personal injury or death. Participants in these activities should be aware of and accept these risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement."

Take care & adventure safely!
